A little later than usual after the bank holiday weekend, but also look out for our monthly roundup later this week.

Eliza’s Berkhamsted Castle Moat Marathon!

Big thanks to Eliza Hermann for her support for Save Castle Fields! In early June Eliza is walking a marathon (26.2 miles) by doing laps of the castle moat path, to raise money to help save the fields.

You'll see she is doing amazingly in reaching her target of £2,500, with much of this coming from her contacts in the United States!

Of course the more funds raised the better, so please do add your name to the list of supporters and give what you can - all money raised goes to Save Castle Fields - here's the link to Eliza's Just Giving page:

Launch of Save Your Space

Saturday 6 June, 3-5pm, Castle Fields

We’re excited to launch the  Save Your Space initiative, where 3m x 3m plots of the fields will become available to sponsor. Join us there - bring your own drinks and picnics, and enjoy a surprise musical performance too!

After the launch, an interactive map of the fields will go live, with opportunities to sponsor sections of the fields.

Previous donators have already been advised that their donation has been converted into a sponsorship of a certain number of plots, depending on the size of their donations.  There are three levels of sponsor – Ambassadors (25 plots +), Champions (10-25 plots) and Supporters (1-9 plots).  

From now on people who support this sponsorship programme will be called Ambassadors, Champions and Supporters but all are a hugely welcome part of the growing Castle Fields Community.
