Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night
Saturday 11 July 2026 at 2pm & 7pm
Join Nonsense Theatre for a Nonsensical Medieval Romp of William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night
Twins Viola and Sebastian are separated in a shipwreck. They find themselves on the island of Illyria, a place where epic romances meets utter nonsense, where nobles speak in poetry, peasants break into song, and no one is ever entirely sober or entirely sane.
Nonsense Theatre brings the true wit and absurdity of Shakespeare’s beloved play with a medieval twist. If you have ever wanted to witness the love-child of Robin Hood Men in Tights, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Princess Bride, Pirates of the Caribbean, and A Knight’s Tale, then look no further.
Bring a picnic, a picnic blanket or camping chair. Even though it’s summer, this is an outdoor performance, and we recommend that you also bring sun screen, warm clothes and waterproofs. Please take all litter home with you.
