Berkhamsted Castle

The last of three guided walks led by Dan Parry. Explore Ashridge’s shadowy past. Gently wander through Capability Brown’s wooded landscape and discover monks, royalty, nobles, and a family haunted by a recurring struggle. Dan Parry is a former BBC History producer and a professional guide with London Walks.

This gentle, family-friendly walk, which does not go into the house or gardens, includes hillsides, gates, and muddy tracks. Meet at Ashridge House car park for a 10am start.
