There’s been lots of fundraising events taking place and being planned recently!

Foggy Bottom Street Party

We’re delighted to say that the Foggy Bottom Street Party raised a very impressive £3,260 to Save Castle Fields.

Local resident Peter Lawson comments, “A big thank you to the Foggy Bottom crew for a fantastic street party on Chapel Street, 2nd May 2026. It was a joyful event with splendid food, wine, music and some serious tombola prizes. Overall, there was a great community spirit throughout. Oh, and compliments to the maker of the seriously delicious pavlova!”

Eco Fair + Launch of Save Your Space

Saturday 6 June

Visit us at Berkhamsted Civic Centre on 6th June, 10am-2.30pm, where we’ll be supporting the Great Big Green Week’s Eco Fair. If you’d like to help on the stall there please email simon.lewis6@btconnect.com

Afterwards, 3-5pm in Castle Fields themselves, we’re excited to launch the  Save Your Space initiative, where 3m x 3m plots of the fields will become available to sponsor. Join us there - bring your own drinks and picnics, and enjoy a surprise performance too!

Musical and Literary Arts Fund Raiser

Another fundraising event for us by Berkhamsted Citizens’ Association on Sunday 9th May. The audience were treated to an evening of music and literature with soprano Madalina Tudoran and guests. Thank you BCA and all involved!

Auction of Promises - Save the Date

Plans are coming together for a special dinner event and accompanying auction of promises this autumn. Save the date of Saturday 31 October! We’re delighted to have secured the Nash Harris building at Berkhamsted School as our venue.
