That’s 52.07% of our target of £500,000! A big thank you to all our volunteers and donors. This huge amount has been raised entirely through voluntary effort and the incredible support of our donors.

We now have in the region of 2,000 participants in our community! For a town of just over 20,000 people, that’s a really impressive and committed level of involvement.

Alongside a delicious meal, live music and dancing, we now have a wonderful variety of prizes for the silent and live auctions, all very kindly donated, with a combined value of nearly £20,000!

Promises are still coming in but already there looks to be something for everyone!

• The Mische Painting Technique demonstration and experience day for four people, with Brigid Marlin and Mary Casserley, in Brigid’s studio overlooking the Deer Park and fields (value £2000)

• A commissioned Mary Casserley painting of your house (value £1,000)

• Guided V&A Trip for six people with John Bly (value £600)

• Three hour interior architectural design consultation from David Cook Architects, Clerkenwell (value £600)

• Bow House Dental Practice Teeth Whitening Session (value £420)

• Canal Boat day trip from Cow Roast Marina for up to 10 people (value £400)

• Two nights accommodation in The Car House, Airbnb, Gravel Path (value £400)

• One-to-one Fly Fishing Experience Day at Pochard Lake Trout Fishery, Brickhills (value £300)

• Drift Limits (Bovingdon) Racing voucher for an Eleanor GT500 VS 1968 Bullitt Mustang Blast experience (value £300)

• 1 hour flight in Piper PA28 with Arthur Gill over the Vale of Aylesbury and surrounding area (value £300)

• Family history research of up to 200 years by Janice Boakes (value £300)

• Four Ball Golf voucher at Berkhamsted Golf Club (value £280)
